Werner Gysi, born in 1949 and educated as an Electronics Engineer in Switzerland, immigrated to Canada in 1981. He published the book Harmonic Farming: a love style in 1995 and during the same year was invited to a one-hour interview on CBC National Radio. He then published another 4 titles available in e-book and paperback format (see “Buy/More books” button above). From 2001 to 2007 Werner held a position as a science teacher at a private boarding school in Montreux, Switzerland. He returned to BC in 2018. In 2013 Werner left the homestead in Enderby, BC to set out on a circumnavigation of the globe for six years. He now lives in Port Alberni while publishing his latest title: Even though five of the six children live outside of Canada, Werner enjoyed seeing them all grow up in the interior of BC while living at the homestead. As of this writing he is grandfather to eight children in Switzerland and one in Denmark. Werner takes pleasure in the outdoors and playing the guitar for his own entertainment. When able, he takes trips to explore Vancouver Island, either by boat or on land.
